Growing together.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nDesign, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines, analytical datasets, and reporting assets that support customer experience, market research, and business performance measurement\nDevelop statistical, machine learning, forecasting, segmentation, and advanced analytics solutions to answer complex business questions\nIntegrate survey, behavioral, operational, digital, and third-party data to create a more complete view of customers, markets, and business outcomes\nUse automation, AI, and modern analytics tools to improve research operations, analytical efficiency, and insight generation\nPartner with research, business, technology, and data governance stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable, and well-governed analytics solutions\nCommunicate findings, recommendations, and business implications clearly to technical and non-technical audiences, including leadership stakeholders\n\nComply with all applicable Company policies, procedures, and business directives, changes including those relating to work location, team assignments, work schedules, and flexible work arrangements\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Business Analytics, Market Research, or a related quantitative field\n3+ years of experience in data science, analytics engineering, data engineering, business intelligence, or advanced analytics\nSolid programming experience in Python and SAS\nExperience building analytics pipelines, data workflows, dashboards, statistical models, or machine learning solutions\nExperience with cloud or enterprise data platforms such as Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, Google Cloud, or similar tools\nAdvanced SQL skills and experience working with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets\nProven solid ability to translate business questions into analytical approaches and communicate insights to stakeholders\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMaster's degree or higher in a quantitative, analytics, or technical field\nExperience with market sizing, competitive intelligence, market research, survey analytics, or healthcare analytics\nExperience with modern AI/ML tools, GenAI applications, RAG, AI agents, or responsible AI practices\nExperience with synthetic data, simulation modeling, digital twin methods, or enterprise-scale analytics products\nAt UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
