Growing together.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nDesign, build, and maintain scalable ETL processes and data pipelines utilizing Databricks, Azure/AWS/GCP cloud solutions, and relational SQL databases\nDesign, develop, and deploy intelligent data-driven and automated solutions to address complex business challenges with an emphasis on responsible usage\nLeverage enterprise-approved technologies to streamline analytics workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and drive continuous operational improvement\nDevelop interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using PowerBI and Tableau to present complex business intelligence to stakeholders\nPerform comprehensive data profiling, statistical modeling, and analysis using Python and SQL to ensure data reliability and integrity across systems\nEvaluate emerging technology trends and analytical best practices to inform system architecture design and strategic innovation\nAnalyze healthcare and provider and claims data to uncover operational efficiencies, trend patterns, and opportunities for performance enhancement\nCollaborate with engineering, business, and data governance teams to define analytics requirements and ensure standards are met\nComply with all applicable Company policies, procedures, and business directives, changes including those relating to work location, team assignments, work schedules, and flexible work arrangements\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology or relevant 4-year degree\n4+ years of experience writing complex SQL queries and working with relational databases\n3+ years of experience working as a Data Analyst, Data Engineer, Provider Data Analyst, or Healthcare Analyst\n3+ years of experience creating business intelligence reports and dashboards using PowerBI or Tableau\n2+ years of experience developing data automation scripts and data processing pipelines using Python\n2+ years of hands-on experience working in cloud environments (Azure) and big data platforms (Databricks)\nPreferred Qualifications:\nRelevant technical certifications in Microsoft Azure, Databricks, PowerBI, or Tableau\nExperience working with healthcare data, such as provider data, claims, or clinical metrics\nDemonstrated experience designing automated workflows or deploying machine learning/AI-driven analytical solutions\nFamiliarity with data governance practices, enterprise data modeling, and quality assurance frameworks\nAt UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
