Growing together.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nDesign, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps tools and practices\nManage and optimize Azure cloud infrastructure supporting provider portal, API, and backend services\nAdminister and enhance Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments\nDevelop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and related automation tools\nCollaborate with software engineers, QA, product managers, and operations teams to streamline software delivery\nImprove deployment reliability, scalability, and platform resiliency\nImplement automated build, testing, deployment, and rollback strategies\nEstablish monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability solutions using Splunk and other enterprise tools\nSupport production deployments and incident response activities\nEnsure compliance with enterprise security standards and DevSecOps practices\nTrack and remediate infrastructure and application vulnerabilities\nDevelop automation scripts to eliminate repetitive operational tasks\nSupport disaster recovery, backup, and platform availability initiatives\nParticipate in release planning and environment management activities\nEvaluate and adopt AI-powered engineering tools to improve productivity and operational efficiency\nMaintain operational documentation, runbooks, and architecture diagrams\nComply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field\n5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering\nHands-on experience with Azure cloud services\nExperience managing Kubernetes environments, preferably AKS\nExperience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or equivalent platforms\nExperience with Docker containers and container orchestration\nExperience implementing monitoring and observability solutions\nWorking knowledge of Linux administration and troubleshooting\nUnderstanding security is best practice, vulnerability management, and DevSecOps principles\nSolid understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles and tools such as Terraform\nProficiency in scripting using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar languages\nDemonstrated solid problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills\nProven effective communication and collaboration skills\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAzure certifications such as:Azure Administrator Associate\nAzure Developer Associate\nAzure DevOps Engineer Expert\n\nExperience supporting healthcare platforms or regulated environments\nExperience with microservices-based architecture\nExperience implementing GitOps practices\nExperience leveraging AI tools (GitHub Copilot, AI-assisted operations, infrastructure automation, or LLM based engineering tools) to improve software delivery and operational efficiency\nKnowledge of Splunk, APM, RUM, and enterprise monitoring frameworks\nFamiliarity with Java/Spring Boot applications\nAt UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
