Growing together.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nDesign, implement, and maintain enterprise CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments\nBuild and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, or CloudFormation\nAutomate build, testing, deployment, and monitoring processes to improve delivery efficiency and reliability\nManage containerized platforms using Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or AKS\nConfigure and support Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar DevOps toolchains\nCollaborate with development teams to improve application performance, scalability, and operational readiness\nImplement observability solutions using monitoring, logging, and alerting platforms such as Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, Azure Monitor, or Dynatrace\nLead environment provisioning, release management, deployment validation, and production support activities\nEnsure adherence to security, compliance, vulnerability management, and governance standards\nSupport incident management, root cause analysis, and implementation of preventive measures\nOptimize cloud resource utilization, performance, availability, and operational costs\nMentor junior engineers and promote DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) best practices across teams\nParticipate in architecture reviews and contribute to platform modernization and cloud transformation initiatives\nComply with all applicable Company policies, procedures, and business directives, changes including those relating to work location, team assignments, work schedules, and flexible work arrangements.\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field\n7+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or related disciplines\nSolid experience with Java, Spring Boot, Maven/Gradle, and microservices-based application architectures\nHands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP\nSolid experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform\nExperience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, AKS, and container orchestration\nExperience implementing monitoring, logging, and observability using Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, Azure Monitor, or App Insights\nExperience supporting highly available, scalable, and resilient distributed systems\nExpertise in CI/CD technologies including Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar platforms\nProficiency in scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar languages\nKnowledge of networking, security, IAM, SSL certificates, load balancers, firewalls, and enterprise security practices\nProven ability to troubleshoot application deployment issues across Java, container, and cloud environments\nProven solid problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAzure certifications such as:Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400)\nAzure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)\nAzure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)\nAzure AI Engineer Associate (AI-102)\n\nExperience implementing AI-assisted Software Development using GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, OpenAI-based development tools, or similar platforms\nExperience integrating AI services such as Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Services, Cognitive Services, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or similar technologies\nExperience building and deploying Java-based AI-enabled applications using Spring Boot, REST APIs, and cloud-native architectures\nKnowledge of AI/ML deployment practices, including model deployment, MLOps pipelines, model monitoring, and AI governance\nUnderstanding of Generative AI architectures, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, and prompt engineering concepts\nKnowledge of AI security, responsible AI, and data privacy principles\nTechnology Stack:\nCloud & DevOps: Azure, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Terraform, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker\nDevelopment: Java 11/17+, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Maven, Gradle\nAI & Automation: GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, Azure OpenAI, AI-Driven SDLC, Prompt Engineering, RAG, LangChain\nMonitoring: Dynatrace, Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, Azure Monitor\nAt UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
