Growing together.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nDesign, develop, test, and deploy enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot\nBuild and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices-based solutions\nDevelop cloud-native solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure services\nIntegrate Generative AI, LLMs, AI services, or intelligent automation capabilities into business applications\nDesign and optimise database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server\nCollaborate with product owners, architects, business analysts, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality software\nParticipate in code reviews and enforce coding standards, security, and best practices\nTroubleshoot production issues and implement performance improvements\nSupport CI/CD pipelines and release management activities\nCreate technical documentation and contribute to architectural discussions\nAI User and capable of using AI tools\nComply with all applicable Company policies, procedures, and business directives, changes including those relating to work location, team assignments, work schedules, and flexible work arrangements\nRequired Qualifications:\nGraduate or Postgraduate in Computer Science/Engineering/Science or related field\n5+ years of professional experience in software engineering and enterprise application development using Java and Spring Boot\n3+ years of experience designing, building, and deploying cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure\n3+ years of experience working with MS SQL Server, including schema design, performance tuning, and query optimization\n3+ years of experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices architectures\n3+ years of experience using version control tools (e.g., Git) and automated CI/CD pipelines\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMicrosoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate or relevant cloud architecture certification\nExperience integrating AI-powered application components, machine learning API services, or cognitive tools\nExperience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes)\nKnowledge of modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular)\nAt UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
