Growing together.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nDesigning and developing enterprise software solutions that are scalable, resilient, and high quality\nWorking with business analysts, project managers, and business customers to better understand the problem\nDeveloping re-usable components and frameworks to solve complex business problems\nConduct code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications and coding best practices\nHaving a passion to learn and grow both technically and professionally\nEnsuring there is a focus on delivering rich user experiences that meets user's needs\nMentoring junior developers to help them grow and succeed\nProvide direction to junior developers, act as escalation point for questions or issues\nDriving the future technology, architecture, and methodologies used by the team\nBuilding influence outside of IT to help understand real world problems customers are having and be able to offer solutions\nDevelops reusable patterns/services to solve business problems\nUtilize solid architecture skills to develop robust and supportable business solutions\nParticipate in Architecture/Technical design sessions and Scrum ceremonies\nAbility to decompose the Epics to Features, Features into User Stories and User Stories into Tasks\nMonitor, debug, and refactor code to improve performance of software solutions\nAbility to read the current code and develop the system architecture and documentation for existing applications\nDevelop documentation throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC)\nPerforms technical analysis to identify and troubleshoot application code-related issues\nComply with all applicable Company policies, procedures, and business directives, changes including those relating to work location, team assignments, work schedules, and flexible work arrangements\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in computer science, Mathematics, Engineering, or other technology related fields\n5+ years of technical experience designing and developing large enterprise solutions using Biztalk, C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, SQL Server, Entity Framework, micro services architecture, and domain driven design\n5+ years of technical experience designing and developing web solutions using Angular, React, Kendo, NgRx State management\nExperience in building and deploying solutions in Azure\nDemonstrated experience with Agile methodologies\nSense of initiative and 'can-do' attitude are highly recommended to succeed in this position\nProven ability to lead a team, and to build effective working relationships within team and across other IT groups, ability to work independently\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExposure to DevOps\nAt UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
