Growing together.\nRole Summary\nDesign and development of modern cloud-native applications and data platforms leveraging Azure, Java, Spring Boot, React JS, Snowflake, and DBT. This is a hands-on role engineering responsibilities to deliver scalable, secure, and compliant healthcare technology solutions.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nDesign and develop scalable full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, React JS, and Azure cloud services\nBuild and integrate modern data solutions leveraging Snowflake, DBT, and semantic layer architectures\nCoding, code reviews, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and production support\nCollaborate with product, architecture to translate requirements into robust technical solutions\nDrive application security, vulnerability remediation, dependency management, and platform risk mitigation efforts\nEstablish CI/CD, DevSecOps, observability, and operational excellence practices across the platform\nComply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so\nRequired Qualifications:\nFulltime graduation degree\n7+ years of experience in full-stack software engineering and application development\nHands-on experience with Azure cloud services and cloud-native application architectures\nExperience delivering data-driven solutions using Snowflake, DBT, and semantic data models\nSolid expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and React JS\nSolid understanding of microservices, distributed systems, API integrations, and modern engineering patterns\nSolid knowledge of secure software development, vulnerability management, and compliance requirements\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments\nHealthcare domain knowledge, including experience with regulated data environments and compliance requirements\nFamiliarity with DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and CI/CD pipelines\nExposure to AI/ML-powered applications and modern data platforms\nAt UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
