Growing together.\nThe Implementation Project Manager (IPM), Fee for Service (FFS) Medicaid Implementations, can work remotely from anywhere in the US. This role provides project management support for medium and complex projects within New Client Implementations at Optum Rx. This is a customer-facing role.\nYou'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nManage the entire client onboarding project for implementation, main contact for the client\nActs as a trusted partner t key constituencies by learning their business to anticipate stakeholder needs and concerns\nEnsures client satisfaction, quality of work, and project profitability\nCoordinate efforts with internal departments for the creation of clinical and formulary needs\nCoordinate disruption analysis to impacted membership (if/when applicable)\nWork with Operations and functional leaders to proactively identify implementation issues and drive their resolution\nFacilitate meetings at various levels of the organization, including management weekly reviews\nMonitor, track, and report implementation status and performance, internally and externally\nIdentify implementation risks, implement a mitigation / action plan to drive improved outcomes, communicate to senior leadership \nEnsure accuracy of plan updates and missed deliverables from all teams\nManage pre-implementation audits with the audit department and the client\nAbility to mentor other team members within implementation, if needed\nUp to 15% travel\nYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.\nRequired Qualifications:\nPMP Certification \n5+ years of technical project management experience\n5+ years of FFS Medicaid experience \n3+ years in the healthcare industry specifically in Medicaid and/or Medicare\n3+ years software development and or software implementations\n2+ years of experience in Pharmacy Benefit Management\n2+ years in a client facing role\nExperience managing large-scale healthcare projects with teams of 10 or more\nSolid experience in influencing externally with soft power, driving cross - functional collaboration, and negotiating win-win solutions\nProficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Word\nDemonstrated ability to present to all levels of management and audiences\nProven ability to ascertain client needs through active listening skills, and consultatively work with clients to achieve business objectives\nPreferred Qualifications:\nCertified Pharmacy Technician\nSoftware development and or software implementations\n2+ years of PBM client implementation project management experience or Account Management experience\nExperience managing complex projects with various stakeholders\n*All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy\nPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
