Growing together.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and implement software applications using .NET, Angular, Azure, and DevOps, ensuring high performance on both mobile and desktop\nManage the entire software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, designing, coding, testing, deployment, and support\nMaintain and enhance existing web applications and all integrated systems\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features\nDevelop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment using Azure and DevOps tools\nMonitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, and devise solutions to address these issues\nLead and mentor junior software engineers, promoting a positive team environment and fostering skill development\nWrite clean, maintainable, and efficient code that complies with company standards and best practices\nParticipate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge\nTroubleshoot complex software issues and provide timely solutions\nParticipate in Agile/Scrum development process and meetings\nKeep abreast of latest and emerging technologies in software development, including AI/ML, and incorporate new technologies as appropriate into solution design\nPerform feasibility analysis for new systems and upgrades\nCollaborate with business analysts and project managers to identify software solutions and ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget\nProactively identify areas for improvement or enhancement in current architecture\nSupport the creation of system and user documentation\nEnsure application security by designing appropriate infrastructure and applying security patches and upgrades when necessary\nConduct performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, and automation\nTake responsibility for feature-focused unit and system testing, contributing to performance and load testing activities\nBuilder Responsibility:Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions using no-code, low-code, and advanced platforms, translating business needs into scalable applications that enhance products, workflows, and decision-making\n\nComply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Development\nHands-on experience in designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high-availability and performance\nSolid experience in DevOps practices including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automated testing\nExtensive experience with databases (SQL & NoSQL), web servers, and UI/UX design\nCurrent and deep knowledge of multiple programming languages including C#, JavaScript, and TypeScript\nSolid knowledge of software architecture, object-oriented design, design patterns, and agile best-practices\nIn-depth knowledge of Azure cloud services and experience in managing cloud-based applications\nExcellent understanding of Agile methodologies\nFamiliarity with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, and peer review\nProficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git\nProficient in backend development using .NET and frontend development using Angular\nDemonstrated solid problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously\nDemonstrated solid commitment to quality and a thorough approach to work\nProven excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills\nDemonstrable ability to lead a team of developers, including mentoring and code reviews\nDemonstrated ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment\nProven ability to learn new software technologies and stay updated with the latest industry trends\nAt UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
