We offer a competitive salary, generous benefits, unlimited growth potential, and a collegiate work environment.\n Purpose of the Position:\nInstruct Students in the areas of Practical Nursing on a full-time basis.\nJob responsibilities:\nMake continuous efforts to improve quality of instruction by reviewing and utilizing different and innovative methodologies / techniques in teaching.\n\nDemonstrate or willing to acquire skills for utilizing online activities as enhancers to course content/material during interactive teaching and learning.\n\nAssist with reviewing and revising syllabus for specific courses within the program and instructional guidelines.\n\nSubmit required program reports and forms to the Director of the program in a timely manner.\n\nKeep current with new technologies and safety regulations.\n\nMaintains student records of attendance, grades, and skills check-off forms and assists with program data collection that meets set due dates and deadlines.\n\nAssists with updating and maintaining student files as related to clinical requirements, immunizations and educational requirements.\n\nTeach courses at a variety of times and locations in response to program needs\n\nTeaches both lecture content and clinical rotations (clinical rotations can be days, and/or evenings, on weekdays and/or weekends).\n\nParticipate in professional development; maintain CE hours to ensure renewed licensure, takes responsibility for staying current with college updates.\n\nActively participates in committees as assigned, based on availability, taking into consideration teaching responsibilities as a priority.\n\nRegular, in-person attendance up to 5 days per week on campus/on site is an essential function of this position.\n\nThis role requires on-site collaboration with students, faculty, and staff.\n\n Hold a valid, unencumbered license issued by the State Board of Nursing;\nBSN and currently enrolled in a Master’s program may be considered\nMinimum four-years’ experience, with one year in the last five years, as a registered nurse providing direct patient care. Clinical experience within the last five years (clinical teaching in an RN program applies toward direct patient care.) Clinically competent as defined in CCR Section 1420(c);\nOne-year experience teaching courses related to nursing or completion of a course which includes practice in teaching nursing preferred; and\nExpertise in one of the following areas of nursing - Mental Health, Medical-Surgical, Geriatrics, Pediatrics, L&D, Community Health, and/or Critical Care\n For Full Time Employees, We Offer:\nMedical, Dental and Vision starting the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment\n2 Weeks’ starting Vacation per year.
