Working under the direction of the Program Director, this role supports the development, evaluation, and remediation of student psychomotor competencies while maintaining instructional quality, compliance, and a safe learning environment that promotes clinical readiness and professional growth.\nThis is a Per-diem position.\nDeliver and facilitate psychomotor skills laboratories, simulation scenarios, and hands-on practice sessions in alignment with the approved curriculum and National EMS Education Standards.\nDemonstrate and instruct proper techniques for paramedic skills, including patient assessment, airway management, vascular access, medication administration, cardiology, trauma care, and other advanced life support procedures.\nEvaluate student performance using approved competency checklists and assessment tools, verifying psychomotor skill proficiency and documenting completion accurately and timely.\nProvide immediate, constructive feedback and coaching to promote safe practice, technical proficiency, and critical thinking.\nAssist with the setup, facilitation, and debriefing of simulation-based learning activities, reinforcing clinical decision-making, teamwork, and professional communication.\nSupport student remediation efforts for those not meeting competency standards and foster development in a structured learning environment.\nEnsure the safe setup, use, maintenance, and storage of training equipment and simulation resources in compliance with institutional policies, OSHA standards, and infection control practices.\nMaintain accurate records and adhere to all program, accreditation (CAAHEP/CoAEMSP), and regulatory requirements related to skills instruction and documentation.\nCollaborate with the Program Director, Lead Instructor, and faculty to ensure instructional consistency and program quality.\nModel professionalism, ethical conduct, and effective communication at all times while performing instructional duties under the direction of the Program Director.\nPay: $25.00 per hour\n Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nCurrent Paramedic certification (National Registry and/or state, as applicable) in good standing.\nTwo (2) to five (5) years of documented experience in prehospital emergency medical services.\nDemonstrated competency in paramedic-level psychomotor skills and advanced life support procedures.\nAbility to instruct, demonstrate, and evaluate hands-on clinical skills effectively.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nPrior teaching, precepting, or instructional experience with paramedic or EMS students.\nKnowledge of adult learning principles and skills-based instruction.\nCurrent instructor certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS, PHTLS) or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe.\n We Offer:\nMedical, Dental and Vision starting the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment\n2 Weeks’ starting Vacation per year.
