We offer a competitive salary, generous benefits, unlimited growth potential, and a collegiate work environment.\n Make continuous efforts to improve quality of instruction by reviewing and utilizing different and innovative methodologies / techniques in teaching. \nDemonstrate or willing to acquire skills for utilizing online/active learning activities as enhancers to course content/material during interactive teaching and learning. \nAssist with reviewing and revising the syllabus for specific courses within the program and instructional guidelines. \nSubmit required program reports and forms to the Director of the program in a timely manner. \nKeep current with new technologies and safety regulations. \nMaintains student records of attendance, grades, and skills check-off forms and assists with program data collection that meets set due dates and deadlines. \nAssists with updating and maintaining student files as related to clinical requirements, immunizations and educational requirements. \nTeach courses at a variety of times and locations in response to program needs \nTeaches both lecture content and clinical rotations (clinical rotations can be days, and/or evenings, on weekdays and/or weekends). \nParticipate in professional development; maintain CE hours to ensure renewed licensure, takes responsibility for staying current with college updates. \nActively participates in committees as assigned, based on availability, taking into consideration teaching responsibilities as a priority. \nRegular, in-person attendance up to 5 days per week on campus/on site is an essential function of this position. \nThis role requires on-site collaboration with students, faculty, and staff. \nOther duties as assigned. \nEducation, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nRegistered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse with current unencumbered licensure in the state in which you are applying to teach. \nGraduate of an approved School of Nursing. \nAble to meet the faculty requirements set by the Board of Vocational Nursing. \nExperience which demonstrates: Current knowledge of nursing practice; ability to mentor students in classroom, lab and clinical settings; ability to work independently without close supervision; broad knowledge of nursing sciences; successful handling of day-to-day operations in the nursing lab; proficient, strong communications skills verbal and written; current knowledge/experience in clinical setting. \nMust obtain ATI, Assessment Technology Institute Certification within 30 days of hire (offered by Unitek). \nCurrent immunizations and Basic Life Support Certification. \nSalary: 95k - 110k\n Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse with current unencumbered licensure in the state in which you are applying to teach\nYou must meet one of the following requirements set by the board of vocational nursing: 3+ years of bedside experience with a minimum of a BSN degree, OR\n6+ years of bedside experience with a minimum of an Associates Degree\n\nGraduate of an approved School of Nursing.\nAble to meet the faculty requirements set by the Board of Vocational Nursing.\nExperience which demonstrates: Current knowledge of nursing practice; ability to mentor students in classroom, lab and clinical settings; ability to work independently without close supervision; broad knowledge of nursing sciences; successful handling of day-to-day operations in the nursing lab; proficient, strong communications skills, verbal and written; current knowledge/experience in clinical setting.\nMust obtain ATI, Assessment Technology Institute Certification within 30 days of hire (offered by Unitek).\nCurrent immunizations and Basic Life Support Certification.\n We Offer:\nMedical, Dental and Vision starting the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment\n2 Weeks’ starting Vacation per year.
