You'll actively incorporate contemporary theory and practice into therapy that promotes the independence and wellbeing of our elderly clients. This will include:\nProactively screen and assess clients to formulate and maintain up to date individualised care plans\n\nMaintaining open and fluid communication within a multidisciplinary healthcare team\n\nReferring clients to appropriate health care professionals when necessary\n\nLiaising compassionately with our clients and their families\n\nThis role is based in Bundaberg/Hervey Bay/Maryborough. If working full time, some travel between sites (approximately one to two days per fortnight) is required. You'll have:\nTertiary Qualifications in Speech Pathology - Essential\n\nExperience as a Speech Pathologist/Therapist, preferably in the aged care.
