The role owns its direction, operating model, governance, reliability outcomes and capability development across global production environments.\nThe successful candidate will establish a scalable, standardised and sustainable infrastructure capability, represent infra ops in technical and management discussions, and remain hands-on for critical decisions, major incidents and complex infrastructure challenges.\nRESPONSIBILITIES / WHAT YOU WILL DO\nInfrastructure Operations Accountability\nOwn the end-to-end Infrastructure Operations capability, including its service boundaries, ownership model, operating standards, governance and roadmap.\nAct as the accountable technical authority for infrastructure decisions in architecture, delivery, security, risk and management forums.\nEstablish a scalable operating model across internal teams, regional teams and service partners, with clear accountability and measurable outcomes.\nInfrastructure Strategy, Architecture & Lifecycle Governance\nDefine and govern infrastructure architecture, deployment patterns, lifecycle roadmaps and modernisation priorities across virtualised, cloud and customer-hosted environments.\nEnsure platforms are supportable, secure, resilient and sustainable, covering cloud, compute, operating systems, images, networks and shared infrastructure services.\nDrive standardisation and technical-debt reduction while balancing reliability, regional constraints, scalability and cost.\nReliability, Resilience & Operational Risk\nOwn infrastructure reliability, availability, capacity, disaster recovery and operational readiness.\nLead major infrastructure incidents and cross-domain diagnosis, then drive root-cause and systemic remediation to sustained closure.\nIdentify material infrastructure risks early and provide evidence, options, recommendations, accountable ownership and target closure.\nEngineering Governance & Automation\nEstablish infrastructure engineering standards, configuration baselines, change controls and operational validation requirements.\nDrive infrastructure-as-code, automation, version-controlled configuration and repeatable operational patterns.\nEnsure infrastructure activities are controlled, auditable, measurable and progressively less dependent on manual effort.\nCapability Development & Technical Leadership\nBuild organisational infrastructure capability through coaching, technical reviews, reusable standards and knowledge transfer.\nConvert fragmented or person-dependent practices into sustainable team-owned capability and clear support boundaries.\nInfluence Product Engineering, Cyber Security, Project Delivery, regional operations and vendors through technical credibility and constructive challenge.\nWHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE\nEstablish a clear, scalable and measurable Infrastructure Operations operating model.\nImprove infrastructure reliability, resilience, lifecycle health and operational readiness.\nReduce operational risk and manual dependency through governance, standards and automation.\nBuild sustainable organisational capability across teams, regions and service partners.\nProvide leadership visibility of infrastructure health, risk, technical debt and improvement progress.\nREQUIREMENTS / WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR\nExperience\n10+ years in production infrastructure engineering, platform engineering or infrastructure operations, with demonstrated ownership of business-critical environments.\nProven experience leading an infrastructure domain, function or technical capability across complex or multi-region environments.\nExperience defining infrastructure standards, governance frameworks, operating models and lifecycle roadmaps.\nExperience with incident management and infrastructure transformation.\nEvidence of building reusable capability rather than only resolving individual technical tasks.\nStrong practical experience in public-cloud and virtualised infrastructure, including at least one of Azure, AWS or GCP.\nSolid foundations across operating systems, infrastructure networking, resilience, security controls and lifecycle management.\nHands-on automation using scripting, infrastructure-as-code or configuration-management tooling.\nAbility to assess infrastructure architecture, deployment supportability, operational risk and production readiness.\nBilingual (Mandarin interaction with internal development team) business proficiency.\nProfessional Capability\nEnd-to-end ownership, disciplined follow-through and sound technical judgement under ambiguity and pressure.\nAbility to influence cross-functional teams and vendors without relying on direct line authority.\nClear executive and technical communication in English;
