For more information, please visit https://univers.com\nJob Opportunity: SCADA/EMS Engineer\nLocation: UK (London) with around 50% travel to site\nAbout Us\nWe’re looking for a SCADA/EMS Engineer who’s passionate about renewable energy and excited to deliver mission-critical monitoring and control systems for cutting-edge projects.\nWhat You’ll Do\nConfigure, deploy, and commission SCADA and EMS solutions for renewable energy projects (BESS, PV, Smart Grids, etc.).\nDeliver projects from design through commissioning and into operations.\nLead on-site pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, customer acceptance, and technical training.\nIntegrate with system components such as firewalls, UPS, I/O devices, RTUs, and other hardware.\nProduce technical documentation including I/O Lists, Functional Design Specifications, and system architecture drawings, among others.\nCollaborate with internal teams, contractors, and clients to ensure successful delivery.\nBuild and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring confidence at every stage.\nWhat You Bring\nDegree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience).\nBackground in renewable energy, energy storage, or industrial control systems.\nHands-on experience with SCADA, EMS and similar control systems.\nHands-on experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, DNP3, IEC-104).\nKnowledge of networks, servers, Linux-based systems, and systems integration.\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for complex technical challenges.\nExperience with industry standards, cybersecurity practices, or relevant certifications (desirable).\nPassion for sustainable energy and innovation.\nWho You Are\nHands-on, resourceful, and proactive.\nA problem-solver who thrives in dynamic environments.\nEntrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, can-do attitude.\nStrong communicator, confident working with clients and cross-functional teams.\nWhy Join Us?\nWork on pioneering renewable energy and energy storage projects.\nBe part of a mission-driven team making real-world impact.\nOpportunities for career progression, continuous learning, and international exposure.\nCompetitive compensation and benefits package.\nUnivers is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
