The organisation combines entrepreneurial thinking with strong values, a collaborative culture, and a genuine commitment to building long-term customer partnerships.\nWhat's the Role About?\nThis is not a traditional \"win it and walk away\" sales role.\nYou'll be responsible for identifying and securing new customers, then developing and growing those accounts during their first 12 months before handing them over to an established account management structure. It's a role that rewards relationship building just as much as business development. \nYou'll:\nDrive customer acquisition across Dundee and the wider Tayside area.\nBuild and develop profitable long-term customer relationships.\nRetain ownership of new accounts during the critical onboarding and growth phase.\nHelp shape the commercial expansion of the business across Scotland.\nInfluence the future success of a business with ambitious growth plans. \nKey Responsibilities\nIdentify, target, and win new customers across Dundee and surrounding areas.\nDevelop and execute a territory growth plan aligned to business objectives. \nGenerate opportunities through networking, prospecting, referrals, social selling, and industry engagement. \nBuild strong relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders. \nPresent tailored proposals, negotiate commercial agreements, and secure profitable business. \nManage onboarding and account development for newly acquired customers. \nMaintain CRM accuracy, pipeline visibility, and forecast reporting. \nWork closely with the operations, procurement, customer service, and commercial teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience. \nRequirements\nAbout You\nYou will ideally have:\nExperience within packaging, industrial consumables, manufacturing, distribution, or a related B2B environment. \nA proven track record of delivering new business growth and exceeding sales targets. \nStrong prospecting, negotiation, and account development skills. \nExperience using CRM systems and sales analytics tools. \nCommercial
