With a close-knit team of around 37, teamwork and supporting one another really matter.\nWhat you'll be doing\nTaking responsibility for the day-to-day running and organisation of the warehouse.\nHands-on picking, preparing, checking and loading customer orders for delivery.\nOperating counterbalance and reach forklift trucks safely and efficiently.\nSupervising, coordinating and supporting a team of three delivery drivers.\nPlanning delivery schedules and routes, ensuring orders are delivered accurately and on time.\nManaging stock levels, goods-in, storage and despatch.\nManaging the company fleet, including vehicle servicing, MOTs, maintenance, breakdowns, repairs and vehicle inspections.\nEnsuring vehicles are roadworthy, compliant and ready for use.\nMaintaining high standards of warehouse health and safety.\nIdentifying ways to improve efficiency, organisation and service delivery.\nRequirements\nYou'll be a practical, hands-on warehouse professional with previous supervisory experience and the confidence to lead from the front.\nIdeally, you'll have:\nPrevious experience supervising or managing a warehouse operation.\nProven experience operating both counterbalance and reach forklift trucks.\nA good understanding of warehouse processes, stock control and inventory management.\nExperience supervising drivers and coordinating deliveries.\nExperience managing company vehicles, including servicing, maintenance and breakdowns.\nGood organisational and problem-solving skills.\nA positive, flexible approach and the ability to work well under pressure.\nEssential requirements:\nFull, valid UK driving licence.\nPractical experience using counterbalance and reach forklift trucks.
