Starting with a colorectal cancerscreeningliquid biopsy test, we are building a multi-cancer platform that can identifythe unique DNA regions associated with different typesof cancers. \n The Opportunity:\n Universal Diagnostics (UDx) is seeking a Molecular Supervisor to join our Lab Operations Team in the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day molecular laboratory operations while providing leadership and operational oversight for workflow execution, study support, and laboratory personnel.\nYou will support laboratory staffing, scheduling, operational readiness, and execution activities while helping ensure workflows are performed efficiently and in accordance with established procedures, quality standards, and study timelines.\nThis position will work closely with cross-functional teams including assay development, automation, bioinformatics, quality, and laboratory operations to support scaling of the UDx Signal-C assay.\nHow you’ll contribute:\nOversee daily molecular laboratory operations and study execution activities \nSupervise and support Molecular Technologists and laboratory staff during workflow execution \nCoordinate laboratory staffing, scheduling, and operational workflow planning activities \nPerform and support end-to-end NGS workflows including plasma processing, cfDNA extraction, library preparation, amplification, and sequencing support activities \nEnsure laboratory reagents, consumables, equipment, and resources are available to support execution timelines \nMonitor workflow performance and assist with identifying operational risks, bottlenecks, and process improvement opportunities \nTroubleshoot workflow, operational, and equipment-related issues during study execution \nMaintain accurate and complete documentation in LIMS and laboratory records \nEnsure workflows are performed according to SOPs, batch records, and laboratory quality requirements \nSupport onboarding, training, and performance development of Molecular Technologists and laboratory staff \nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support laboratory execution and operational readiness \nSupport laboratory quality initiatives, deviation investigations, corrective actions, and inspection readiness activities \nAdhere to laboratory safety policies and quality standards\nWhat you’ll bring:\n\nBachelor’s degree in biology/chemistry or a related field, with hands-on experience in a molecular laboratory \nMinimum 3-5 years of experience supporting NGS laboratory operations, workflow coordination, staff training, and study execution activities\nStrong leadership, organizational, troubleshooting, and workflow coordination skills in a fast-paced laboratory environment\nExperience supporting laboratory staffing, scheduling, performance reviews, training, and operational execution activities within molecular laboratory workflows \nProficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) \nExperience working in a CLIA or CAP high-complexity laboratory required\nWhat we´ll offer:\nWe’re proud to offer exceptional corporate benefits which include:\n22 days of PTO with the possibility to carry over 10 days to the following year. \nCompany Holidays, plus your Birthday off! \nCompany-sponsored benefit plans, including medical, dental, and vision insurance plus life, STD, and LTD coverage, and 401(k). \nFlexible work schedule \nAnd more to come! \n Why Now? \nThis is an exciting time to be at Universal DX.
