Ideal ASL Interpreter must have previous experience with in-person and video appointments. We are seeking a flexible seasoned American Sign Language interpreter who will coordinate scheduling efforts for a busy agency and able to assist with appointments as needed for in-person appointments or through video remote VRI. This role will be based in our Bellevue offices and has flexibility to work to work from your home office hybrid as well in-between appointments. Along with a commuter/parking reimbursement program for traveling to appointments, conferences or meetings.\nSUMMARY: Overseeing and participating in the daily operations of sign language interpreting services to ensure they are delivered efficiently to people who are deaf or hard of hearing.\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nAccept ownership on Sign Language service requests; manage Sign Language Interpreters' orders from entering, fulfilling, timely updating on status (e.g., pending) and confirming Sign Language Interpreters' names scheduled with Service Requesters.\nUse advanced scheduling techniques to fulfill Sign Language Interpreter requests as needed.\nManage internal W2 ASL VRI scheduling and coordinate 24/7 shift coverage. \nMeet and exceed overall Sign Language Interpreters orders daily fill rates. \nMeet and exceed Customers' service-level expectations based on their contract requirements; obtain prior authorization for special Sign Language requests as needed.\nMaintain Sign Language related emails and inquiries.\nTake in-person and video remote session appointments as needed to ensure ASL coverage. \nMaintain close contact with Sign Language Interpreters and Service Requesters whenever an issue is at stake to ensure proper resolution.\nExercise initiative, discretion, and independent judgment when supporting Universal Language Service Sign Interpreters and Service Requesters.\nProvide additional support and perform duties of Spoken Languages subdivisions as needed; act as a flex team member between Sign and Spoken Languages Interpreters Orders Fulfillment, Data-Entry, Orders Confirmations and Updates, On-Demand / Pre-Scheduled Language Services.\nMeet and exceed Service Requesters' (e.g., hospitals, government organizations) contractual obligations on Sign Language service level requirements and regulations by recruiting and onboarding enough Sign Language Interpreters, compliance resolution, and quality assurance programs.\nAct as an ombudsman;
