We may be the right place for you, so get in touch!\nWhat You’ll Accomplish\nDesign and build advanced test rigs for electrical and mechanical characterization of quantum devices \nDevelop meticulous test plans and protocols for validating device performance \nConduct experimental validation and characterization of electronics systems to meet stringent performance requirements for quantum hardware \nCollaborate with device designers and electronics engineers to improve test coverage and ensure compatibility with emerging quantum chip architectures \nCritically evaluate testing methodologies and propose improvements for efficiency and accuracy \nDocument test procedures, results, and findings for reproducibility and knowledge sharing \nRequirements\nThe 3 Most Critical Attributes We’ll Use to Compare Candidates\nStrong electronics capabilities for PCB design and configuring test equipment for automated device testing \nMechanical design skills to create precision test rigs \nExcellent communication skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and ensure testing needs are met and improved \nMust-have Skills\nPCB layout and schematic design using ECAD tools (e.g., Altium) \nMechanical CAD proficiency for fixture and rig design \nStrong technical writing and documentation skills \nFamiliarity with test/electronics equipment (multiplexers, VNA, TDR, oscilloscopes) \nExperience measuring high-frequency electrical signals and ensuring signal integrity \nKnowledge of embedded systems and FPGA-based control for automated testing \nMaster/BSc Degree in electronics engineering or a related discipline\nNice-to-have Skills\nExperience cryogenic temperatures and testing sensitive quantum devices \nBackground in RF engineering, metrology, or instrumentation \nExperience developing automated testing frameworks using scripting languages (Python, MATLAB) \nFamiliarity with LabVIEW for experimental setups \nUnderstanding EMC and high-speed digital design constraints in quantum
