We may be the right place for you, so get in touch!\nWhat You’ll Accomplish\nContribute to the design and architecture activities for a custom RF delivery system including cables and transmission lines. \nDefine specifications and trade-offs for key building blocks of the end-to-end RF delivery system \nOversee all RF aspects of design, simulation, integration, verification, and validation testing. \nExpand your expertise across various engineering domains. \nCollaborate with RF team members, electronics engineers, ASIC/chip designers, mechanical engineers, software engineers, and physicists to achieve common goals. \nEnsure the use of innovative RF solutions. \nAssist in project planning, scheduling, risk management and progress reporting. \nContribute to rapid proof-of-concept developments and feasibility discussions. \nRequirements\nThe 3 Most Critical Attributes We’ll Use to Compare Candidates:\nExtensive RF front and backend system design experience (VHF to X-band). \nProven hands-on experience in designing complex RF systems from concept to delivery, including proficiency with FEA tools, particularly Ansys HFSS, CST and ADS. \nInquisitive, co-operative, empathetic and has a strong desire to work within a highly technical environment. \nMust-have Skills:\nAround 5-10 years of practical experience in RF System and/or circuit design. \nStrong understanding of RF hardware design principles. \nExpertise in developing and executing test plans for complex RF systems. \nKnowledge of low noise design techniques and testing low noise RF systems. \nDemonstrated success in bringing RF subsystem designs to market. \nProficiency with FEA and simulation tools, especially Ansys HFSS, CST and ADS. \nExperience working with suppliers and contractors. \nStrong documentation skills. \nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, a team player. \nA minimum of a 2.1 BEng/BSc Degree in System or Electronics Engineering or a related field. \nNice-to-have Skills:\nExperience in analogue design. \nPCB design experience (VHF to X-band). \nFamiliarity with the RF vendor supply chain. \nPragmatic approach to decision-making and design choices. \nExperience in team and/or project management. \nPlease feel encouraged to apply even if you don't match all the requirements of our job description.
