The position will be responsible for technical ownership and delivery on infrastructure projects and for infrastructure aspects of Application projects. Requires a strong technical experience in enterprise AV deployment and migrations.\nJob Functions:\nUtilize technical skills to coordinate AV upgrades and deployments with local partners and vendors.\n\nResponsible for UMG’s Office AV strategy and direction.\n\nDevelop and implement migration plans.\n\nDevelop and maintain Office AV standards and procedures.\n\nDevelop designs and configurations for AV standards and conference room spaces.\n\nDevelop and maintain configuration guides and knowledgebase articles for AV topics.\n\nPhysically install AV and conference equipment to support global standards.\n\nTurnover implemented work to the operational support teams including development of operational processes, documentation, and training. Ensure AV project documentation is complete and accurate.\n\nUtilizing knowledge of technology, UMG’s business needs, and UMG’s capabilities, serve as a liaison between stakeholders and UMG IT.\n\nReview proposed solutions to ensure the delivery of a quality product or service.\n\nConfirm the alignment of customer expectations and implementation plans.\n\nProvide documentation and communication to peers and management for status, coordination, objectives, and performance.\n\nAssess and troubleshoot, consult with vendors, and coordinate with other teams for problem resolution of build activities.\n\nDevelop and present training on AV topics to engineering, implementation, and operations teams.\n\nServe as a tier-4 escalation point for AV issues.\n\nConduct proof of concepts for AV technologies.\n\nEnsure compliance with incident, problem, and change management procedures and standards to ITIL standards by all Sourcing Provider(s).\n\nAttend technical project review meetings. Ensure project technical designs meet UMG’s operational requirements are in compliance with UMG infrastructure and security standards.\n\nOther tasks as deemed necessary or appropriate.\n\nJob Requirements:\nSkills/Abilities:\nCEA, CTS, CAT, or AVIXA certified in AV environment preferred.\n\nEngineering level experience in telephony routing/switching in high volume workflows.\n\nKnowledge of standard AV protocols including Dante, AVB, SIP, H323, VOIP.\n\nAV install experience with Zoom, Cisco, MSTeams, and Meet rooms.\n\nProficiency in AV design and global standardization.\n\nProficiency in Conference room configuration and install.\n\nAbility to create upgrade and refresh plans for budgeting and end of life replacements.\n\nAbility to run large scale proof of concepts.\n\nAbility to mentor and guide junior engineers.\n\nAbility to work independently with minimal guidance.\n\nSolid written, oral, and interpersonal communications skills.\n\nFluent in English (written and oral).\n\nExperience:\nExperienced IT professional with 3+ years overall experience and minimum of 3 years as a unified communications engineer.\n\nExperience in the design and delivery of customer-facing presentations (2 years minimum).\n\nExperience configuring and/or administering UC telephony platforms (Zoom Phone & Contact Center preferred) (2 years minimum).\n\nExperience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting UC systems and telephony application standards such as: Zoom, Teams, Cisco, Meet, etc..
