RECEPTIONIST – UAE National only

Responsible for attending telephone calls, transferring calls to the appropriate faculty and staff, maintaining the reception area, greeting and dealing with visitors and students.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provides general information in response to inquiries in person or by telephone; refers highly technical inquiries to appropriate department.

2. Screen call requests and dial numbers that are authorized.

3. Receiving and transferring incoming calls.

4. Document and monitor unanswered calls, provide unanswered call log to concerned departments on a daily basis.

5. Document and coordinate local and international courier services.

6. Assist other departments, as needed.

7. Other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.

Position Required Skills:

· Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written)

· Punctuality and patience in handling callers and guests

· General knowledge of university especially enrollment and admission policies and procedures

· Interpersonal skills

· Excellent knowledge of MS Office program

Position Desired Skills

· Secondary Education Certificate

· 1 - 2 years relevant experience
