To learn how to apply for a faculty or staff position, please review this tip sheet.\nThe University of Miami/UHealth Department of Pediatrics has an exciting opportunity for a full time Sr. Program Coordinator to work in Miami, FL.\nThe Senior Program Coordinator provides administrative support to faculty and acts as a liaison between faculty, students, and other Universities. This position assists in the development, monitoring, and reporting of departmental budgets.\nCore responsibilities:\nWorks closely with students to continuously evaluate their learning experience and improve quality and value of the program. \nRegisters students for courses using University procedures and systems. \nActs as an academic advisor for students in the program and as a career advisor for prospective and continuing students. \nDevelops strategic partnerships with external entities and organizations. \nCreates monthly budget reports to ensure operations are within plan. \nAssists with database maintenance and enrollment management. \nEnsures administrative processes and associated forms for instructor services are completed in a timely manner. \nResponds to various instructor requests and telephone, email, and internet submissions for all programs. \nPrepares faculty payroll for the program. \nPlans and participates in open houses for the department. \nAdheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.\nDepartment Specific Functions:\nFacilitates parent workshops in the Miami-Dade County community\nRecruits sites for delivery of workshops including schools, agencies and others\nWorks effectively as part of team of workshop facilitators\nAbility to work flexible hours including occasional weekends and evening hours\nAbility to report data in excel and other databases\nAbility to utilize online documents in google drive and box platforms to report data related to workshop delivery \nEffective public speaking\nThis list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities as necessary.\nCore Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.
