Minimum qualifications:

- Master's degree in education.

- Specialist qualification recognized by the College of Teacher of Ontario.

- Recent experience as a full-time teacher in a school or in administration within a school board.

- Two years of experience implementing the Ontario Curriculum in the relevant subject area.

- Confirmation of updated qualifications in education, particularly in the relevant subject area.

- Ability to apply Ethical Standards and Standards of Practice in the Teaching Profession.

An acceptable level of education/experience could be viewed as being equiv. to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
