Hourly Rate:

AE-RA-Tuteur / TA-RA-Tutor : $33.83 ou/or $53.31 (Sept. 2026 - Aug. 2027)

The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.

Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.

These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.

These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

Nature of Work:

Prepare and test lab experiments, exercises and assignments. Assist students with lab experiments, assignments and theory. Prepare and deliver tutorials. Present demonstrations. Mark assignments, lab reports and quizzes. Prepare solutions for exercises and correct them promptly.Help in keeping a file for student marks.Offer consultation hours and answer emails from students. Proctor examinations and/or tests.

Minimum Requirements:

Preference will be given to candidates who have completed this course or its equivalent and its prerequisite(s) with a mark of A or better.Attend a TA workshop if necessary.Must be ready for an interview if considered for this position. If the responsibilities include DGD and/or TUT and/or LAB supervision or teaching, the applicant must be available for all of these. Knowledge of digital system design as well as of the lab hardware. Good presentation skills. Hands-on experience with Altera Quartus II, excellent knowledge of VHDL (must have worked with VHDL) and understanding of ASM/RTL design.

Please note that the teaching method will be delivered: in person.
