BW Fitness Specialist

Campus Recreation & Fitness-BW Fitness Specialist position.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

• Must be a declared major in HPMS Exercise Science and have completed the Practicum Leadership class.

• Desk responsibilities include answering the phone, scheduling fitness assessments and equipment orientations, answering members’ questions.

• Supervise the fitness center and enforce policies.

• Provide daily cleaning and upkeep of the facilities and equipment.

• Serve as a personal trainer for member clients.

• Understand all emergency procedures for the facility and be prepared to act in the event of an emergency.

• Must have current certification in American Red Cross first aid and community CPR/AED or equivalent.

• Must be able to work weekdays including early morning and evenings.
