You will lead database design and performance initiatives across OLTP and OLAP environments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and seamless integration with data pipelines and AI-driven analytics.\nWhat you will be doing:\nLead Oracle database development across high-volume OLTP and OLAP environments.\nDesign, develop, and optimize complex Oracle SQL and PL/SQL solutions for mission-critical applications.\nArchitect scalable database schemas, packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and data models.\nDrive database performance tuning using execution plans, indexing strategies, partitioning, statistics management, and Oracle diagnostic tools (AWR, ASH).\nPlan and coordinate complex database releases while ensuring high availability and minimal production impact.\nLead a team of Oracle developers, setting technical direction, reviewing code, mentoring engineers, and promoting engineering best practices.\nEstablish standards for database development, testing, deployment, documentation, and code quality.\nCollaborate closely with backend engineers, DBAs, data engineers, platform teams, and product stakeholders to deliver reliable data solutions.\nSupport production systems by investigating and resolving performance bottlenecks, database incidents, and scalability challenges.\nPartner with analytics and AI teams to enable efficient data pipelines and modern data architectures.\nDrive automation of database development, testing, and deployment through CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.\nContinuously improve database reliability, maintainability, and development processes.\nQualifications:\n6+ years of professional experience in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development, ideally at or above OCP (Oracle Certified Professional) level.\nSolid understanding of OLTP and OLAP systems, including design, performance optimization, and maintenance.\nProven experience developing and supporting 24x7 high-availability systems.\nStrong skills in query tuning, indexing, partitioning, and performance diagnostics using AWR/ASH or equivalent tools.Experience leading or mentoring a team of developers (2+ people).Proficiency with Git for version control and release management.Structured analytical thinking and attention to detail.\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related IT field.\nEnglish proficiency (B2 or higher) for effective collaboration in a global environment.\nNice to have:\nKnowledge of data warehouse design principles and ETL integration.\nFamiliarity with AI or analytics workloads that leverage Oracle or hybrid data architectures.\nExperience with automation, CI/CD pipelines, and Terraform for database provisioning.\nUnderstanding of PostgreSQL or cloud-managed databases (e.g., Aurora, RDS).\nProven ability to collaborate across teams to resolve production performance and scalability
