This role blends technical program management with agile execution oversight, focusing on infrastructure projects, incident and RCA management, cloud cost optimization, observability tooling, and ongoing platform reliability efforts.\n\nSPMs serve as force multipliers for their teams, removing blockers, ensuring clarity of priorities, and enabling engineers to focus on high-impact work. They translate high-level business goals into organized, measurable, and achievable initiatives while upholding high standards of communication, documentation, and follow-through.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nLead project planning, backlog refinement, sprint execution, and post-mortem ceremonies for one or more SRE teams\n\nCoordinate cross-functional alignment with Dev, Security, and Cloud Engineering partners for work like containerization, version upgrades, and AWS infrastructure changes\n\nProactively manage Jira hygiene and workflows, ensuring that tickets are well-defined, estimated, assigned, and properly linked to Epics, Themes, and organizational priorities\n\nTrack and report progress on reliability, performance, and cost-focused initiatives using dashboards, Confluence documentation, and recurring status updates\n\nFacilitate regular team ceremonies and leadership reviews, keeping meetings focused, data-driven, and outcome-oriented\n\nSupport compliance, access control, and decommissioning efforts across cloud and on-prem systems\n\nIdentify patterns and areas of opportunity for automation, documentation, and tooling improvements\n\nAct as a steward of engineering time, minimizing context-switching, streamlining workflows, and closing the loop on stale or duplicative work\n\nContribute to shared documentation and knowledge management across the program\n\nContinuously improve team processes through retrospectives and experimentation\n\nQualifications\n\nAvailable to work 9am to 5pm, US Eastern Time\n\n5+ years of experience in technical program management, project management, or product ownership roles in software engineering/development teams\n\nStrong understanding of Agile/Scrum principles and Jira/Confluence best practices (e.g., dashboards, JQL, macros)\n\nFamiliarity with cloud-native technologies (e.g., AWS, Kubernetes, ECS, Terraform)\n\nExperience with observability, alerting, and incident response tooling (e.g., Datadog, New Relic, PagerDuty)\n\nComfortable analyzing data to drive decisions and communicating findings clearly to both engineers and executives\n\nHigh attention to detail, follow-through, and accountability\n\nEmpathy and communication skills to work with diverse, distributed engineering teams\n\nPreferred Qualities\n\nAbility to manage ambiguity and bring structure to complex or undefined Project Manager/Scrum Master with 5+ years of experience in project management.\n\nStrong Jira administration experience\n\nAgile/Scrum leadership background\n\nExperience managing technical infrastructure or cloud-related projects\n\nExcellent cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills\n\nBackground in banking, finance, or other regulated industries\n\nFamiliarity with Kubernetes, ECS, Terraform, and cloud technologies\n\nLead Agile ceremonies: daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives\n\nSupport team organization and delivery tracking\n\nStrong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies\n\nThis is less of a traditional PM role and more of a technical Scrum Master/Project Manager who can independently drive cross-functional infrastructure initiatives in a
