You'll partner across Data Engineering, Analytics, AI, Architecture, Security, and Governance teams to establish platform standards, improve adoption, optimize investments, and enable innovation across the organization.\nThe ideal candidate brings a blend of platform expertise, stakeholder leadership, governance experience, and business acumen. You thrive in complex environments, enjoy influencing across teams, and have a passion for turning platform capabilities into business outcomes.\nWhat You'll Drive:\nEnterprise governance and operational oversight of Data & AI platforms\nPlatform adoption, utilization, and value realization\nVendor and stakeholder relationship management\nPlatform cost optimization and financial accountability\nAccess management, governance, and compliance\nCross-functional collaboration to support analytics and AI innovation\nScalable processes, standards, and guardrails that enable responsible platform usage\nThis is a campus-based role requiring 4 days per week onsite.\nJob Specifications\nBachelor’s degree in information technology, mathematics, or statistics preferred.\n5+ years hands-on experience acting as a Data Engineer, BI Analyst or Data Scientist. Based on specific team composition and goals one discipline may carry more weight than the others.\nPrior leadership and/or management experience preferred.\nExperience with analytics programming languages (SQL/R/Python)\nExperience with modern BI toolsets (Snowflake, Databricks, Tableau, Alteryx, PowerBI, or equivalent)\nIn-depth understanding of data profiling, statistical analysis and data modeling concepts\nAdept in extracting, loading and leveraging data in data warehouse, transactional databases, object stores & API based environments\nData Architecture and Infrastructure: Good understanding of data architecture principles and related infrastructure requirements, covering on-prem and Cloud platforms.\nStrong problem solving, programming and project management skills.\nExcellent ability to interpret or correlate an extensive variety of information and decompose complex analytical and technical problems and translate them into simple business solutions to be presented to key stakeholders.\nAbility to think conceptually, handle ambiguity, solve complex problems and make thoughtful recommendations.\nExcellent communications skills and abilities working with all corporate levels and external contacts.\nDemonstrated mentoring/coaching skills developing technical implementation employees\nPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities\nOwn day-to-day management of enterprise Data & AI platforms.\nEstablish and enforce platform governance standards, policies, and operating procedures.\nMeasure platform utilization, adoption, and value realization across business and technology teams.\nWill oversee the execution of a team's analytics strategy. Guiding their team on the usage of tools, methodologies and ensuring their team is tracking towards goals and project deadlines.\nOversee the implementation of best practices in support of data & analytics projects to drive consistency and standardization of Data and AI platforms usage.\nResponsible for recruiting, training, performance management, coaching, development and retention of staff within their team.\nOversees the construction of predictive models, data pipelines and analytics workflows in the support of operational and analytics objectives. Will also meaningfully contribute to the development of these assets as necessary.\nWork with partners to translate business needs into a technical plan, identify available data, communicate findings and results, and develop implementation tactics.
