As the Packaging Supervisor, you’ll oversee daily packaging operations and lead the Packaging Associate team to ensure products are packaged accurately, meet quality standards, and are ready for shipment on time.\nYou’ll also work closely with Procurement and other departments to develop and standardize packaging solutions for UMAC products. From ESD-safe packaging for electronic boards to custom foam inserts that protect motors, drones, and other components, you’ll help ensure every product is packaged according to its unique handling and protection requirements. You’re proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable solving problems, improving processes, and working across teams to support quality and efficiency as the company grows.\nWhat You’ll Bring\nLeadership, organization, and a strong commitment to quality and accountability. Ability to assign daily work, communicate expectations, monitor team performance, and address problems before they affect production. You lead by example, support your team, and understand the importance of safety, accuracy, and meeting operational goals.\nYou also understand that different products require different packaging solutions. The position involves coordinating daily activities, monitoring workflow, addressing operational issues, and assisting with hands-on tasks when needed. The role also requires cross-functional communication to evaluate packaging needs, improve packaging methods, and ensure products are handled and protected appropriately.\nPhysical and environmental requirements include:\nAbility to stand and walk for extended periods as needed\n\nAbility to move throughout the packaging and warehouse areas to monitor operations\n\nAbility to assist with hands-on packaging and material handling tasks when necessary\n\nAbility to visually inspect products, packaging, and labels for accuracy\n\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities\n\nAbility to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and other departments\n\nAbility to maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment\n\nAll employees are required to follow established safety and quality procedures.
