# Security Engineer

We are seeking a Security Engineer to lead Unwrap's security and compliance program. You'll sit within our engineering team, scale our security program, and protect the data our customers trust us with. Specifically, you will: Scale Unwrap’s security program. Set the roadmap, prioritize by real risk, and report on risk directly to leadership. Build systems that continuously improve our security systems as the industry and technology evolve. Be the voice of security risk. Take and defend clear positions on product, architecture, and vendor risk, and lead fast security reviews. Think about the future. Evolve identity and permissions for our AI and agent features, and work with leadership and engineering on cloud hardening, secure SDLC, and SOC 2. This is an in-person role in beautiful Santa Barbara, CA. Our office is downtown, walking distance to great restaurants, coffee shops, and the beach.
