We believe the next generation of consumer brands will be built differently - and we're building the AI-enabled retail tech platform to help them consolidate and win.\nAbout the role(*please note it is a part-time job): \nThe Global Payroll Manager will report to the COO and will oversee all aspects of payroll operations for our international workforce. This role focuses on ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across regions. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of multi-country payroll regulations and practices, along with strong analytical skills. \n\nResponsibilities include - but not limited to: \nFully ownpayroll processing cycles for US, Germany, UK regions and China regions in collaboration with external partners (ADP, etc.) \nEnsure payroll transactions are processed accurately and on time for all employees. \nManage pension and insurance processes and oversee reporting-related tasks. \nEnsure compliance with legal and regulatory payroll requirements, including tax laws, wage regulations, and country-specific rules. \nMaintain accurate payroll data and records, including employee information, timesheets, and other relevant payroll documents. \nResolve employee payroll issues, discrepancies, and concerns in a timely manner. \nProcess payroll accounting entries within NetSuite ERP (prior experience is not required but valued). \nPerform general ledger payroll reconciliations and analysis.\nAct as a key point of contact for employees regarding payroll processes and concerns. \nCollaborate with the People & Culture team on employee-related matters. \nStay informed on payroll-related lawsand best practices across jurisdictions and recommend policy or process updates, as necessary. \nAct as a key point of contact for statutory audits. \n\nA successful team member will have: \n3+ years of relevant experience in payroll management or accounting, ideally in an international, e-commerce environment. Experience in accounting is a strong plus.\nBachelor’s Degree in a related field. \nFamiliarity with US, German, British or Chinese payroll is preferred.\nExperience with ADP or with other payroll systems is a plus.\nAttention to detail and the ability to deliver accurate work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.\nExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills.\nExcellent communication skills both verbal and written and wants to work on a team to collaborate effectively.\nFluent in English, German is a significant plus \nunybrandsis an equal opportunity employer and considers all applicants for employment without any regard to race, skin color, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, and age.
