We believe the next generation of consumer brands will be built differently - and we're building the AI-enabled retail tech platform to help them consolidate and win.\nRole Overview\nThe Procurement Operations Specialist will be responsible for managing the purchase order process from placement to shipment, ensuring suppliers adhere to production schedules and service level agreements (SLAs). This role requires meticulous attention to detail, effective supplier management, and excellent coordination with internal departments. The ideal candidate will be proactive in ensuring the smooth flow of operations, including managing documentation, chasing suppliers, enforcing penalties for SLA breaches, and maintaining accurate records throughout the process.\nKey Responsibilities\nPurchase Order Management:\nManage and oversee the entire purchase order (PO) lifecycle, from placement to shipment, ensuring all information is accurate, up-to-date, and consistently maintained within the company’s system\nEnsure suppliers comply with agreed-upon production schedules and escalate delays or issues as per standard operating procedures.\nRegularly follow up with suppliers to track order progress and enforce adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).\nManage escalations and enforce penalties for non-compliance with SLA terms.\nSupplier Coordination:\nAct as the primary contact for suppliers, maintaining strong relationships while ensuring accountability.\nMonitor and report on supplier performance, addressing any deviations from expectations.\nLiaise with suppliers to gather and verify key documents, such as invoices, shipping documents, and certificates.\nCollaboration with Internal Departments:\nWork closely with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure smooth coordination for shipments.\nSupport cross-functional teams with order-related queries and data requests.\nIdentify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the purchase order process and propose solutions.\nContribute to the development and improvement of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for order management\nQualifications\nEducation & Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.\n2+ years of experience in operations, procurement, or order management, preferably in an e-commerce or manufacturing environment.\nExperience in supplier coordination and SLA enforcement is highly desirable.\nTechnical Skills:\nProficiency in ERP systems and order management tools.\nStrong knowledge of Excel and other data management tools.\nFamiliarity with shipping and logistics processes is a plus.\nSoft Skills:\nExcellent organizational and multitasking abilities.\nStrong communication skills, both written and verbal.\nProactive and detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.\nAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.\nOther Requirements:\n\nFluency in English is essential for supplier communication.\nunybrandsis an equal opportunity employer and considers all applicants for employment without any regard to race, skin color, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, and age.
