Help shape future community services professionals.\nAre you an experienced Community Services professional who enjoys mentoring others, building relationships and helping students turn their learning into real-world experience?\nAt Acknowledge Education, we're looking for a passionate and organised Fieldwork Placement Supervisor - Community Services to join our Brisbane team.\nBased at one of our Brisbane campuses, you'll play an important role in supporting students throughout their fieldwork placement journey, working closely with community organisations, placement supervisors and academic teams to help students develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed.\nThis is a great opportunity to use your industry knowledge in an education setting while making a meaningful difference to the next generation of community services professionals.\nWhy join Acknowledge Education?\n-Make a real difference - Support students as they develop practical skills and confidence in the community services sector.\nStay connected to industry - Build relationships with placement agencies, community organisations and education professionals.\nEnjoy a varied role - Combine student mentoring, placement supervision, assessment and stakeholder engagement.\nBe part of something bigger - Join a growing national education provider committed to quality education and student success.\n Full-Time | Brisbane\nAbout the role\nReporting to the Course Coordinator - Community Services, you'll play an important role in supporting students and host organisations throughout the fieldwork placement process.\nWorking closely with our Fieldwork Placement and Academic teams, you'll monitor student progress, facilitate placement liaison meetings and provide guidance to help students successfully complete their practical learning requirements.\nYour key responsibilities will include:\nCoordinate and conduct placement liaison meetings with students and host organisations to monitor progress and provide support.\nBuild and maintain positive relationships with community organisations, agency supervisors and internal stakeholders.\nGuide students through placement learning goals, assessment requirements and workplace challenges.\nReview and grade placement assessments, providing constructive feedback to support student development.\nIdentify and escalate placement concerns, working collaboratively to achieve positive outcomes.\nMaintain accurate placement records and support compliance with relevant course accreditation requirements.\nContribute to continuous improvement of placement processes and the overall student experience.\n About you\nYou'll bring practical community services experience, strong interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in supporting the next generation of professionals.\nTo be successful, you'll need:\nA postgraduate qualification in Community Services, Social Work, Social Welfare, Human Services or a related discipline.\nA minimum of three years' relevant post-qualification industry experience within the community services sector.\nStrong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage confidently with students, educators and industry partners.\nExcellent written communication, reporting and organisational skills.\nThe ability to manage competing priorities, work collaboratively and provide guidance and support to students.\nIt would also be great if you have:\nExperience supporting students in vocational or higher education settings.\nExperience working with international students and culturally diverse cohorts.\nFamiliarity with InPlace, RTO Manager or Moodle.\n About Acknowledge Education\nAcknowledge Education is entering an exciting new chapter.
