The candidate will be responsible for validating connected vehicle features across bench, HIL, lab car, prototype, and vehicle environments, with strong expertise in requirement-based testing, diagnostics, automotive network analysis, defect debugging, and validation reporting.\n\nKey Responsibilities :\n\n- Analyze system requirements, feature specifications, interface documents, and use cases.\n\n- Prepare and execute test plans, test cases, validation reports, and requirement traceability.\n\n- Validate telematics features including eCall/bCall, remote vehicle operations, OTA, vehicle health, connected services, GPS/GNSS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and cellular connectivity.\n\n- Perform system, integration, functional, regression, and end-to-end validation across bench, HIL, lab car, prototype, and vehicle setups.\n\n- Validate data flow across vehicle ECU, TCU, mobile app, backend, and cloud interfaces.\n\n- Analyze CAN, CAN FD, LIN, Ethernet, TCP/IP, UDS, DoIP, and OBD-II communication logs.\n\n- Reproduce defects and analyze traces, DTCs, and logs for root cause identification.\n\n- Support defect triage and coordinate with development, systems, supplier, and customer teams for issue closure.\n\n- Perform vehicle network troubleshooting and system-level debugging.\n\n- Develop and execute test automation using Python and CAPL.\n\nMandatory Skills :\n\n- 5+ years of automotive testing and validation experience.\n\n- Minimum 3 years of direct experience in telematics, connected vehicle, infotainment, or ECU validation.\n\n- Strong experience in automotive system validation, ECU validation, vehicle diagnostics, and requirement-based testing.\n\n- Hands-on experience with CAN, CAN FD, Ethernet, and TCP/IP.\n\n- Strong knowledge of UDS, DoIP, OBD-II, and DTC analysis.\n\n- Hands-on experience with Vector CANoe and CANalyzer.\n\n- Experience with LTE/4G/5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS/GNSS.\n\n- Strong programming/scripting skills in Python and CAPL.\n\n- Experience in vehicle-level, bench, or HIL validation.\n\n- Good understanding of defect lifecycle management and root cause analysis.\n\nPreferred Skills :\n\n- Experience in OTA update validation.\n\n- Cybersecurity validation awareness.\n\n- Cloud connectivity testing experience.\n\n- Android Automotive exposure.\n\n- HIL testing using dSPACE or Vector.\n\n- Experience with vTESTstudio.\n\n- Automotive SPICE awareness.\n\n- Good understanding of the connected vehicle ecosystem.\n\n- Excellent communication and documentation skills with the ability to work with global
