Our solutions accelerate the transition to clean energy and save money for energy customers.\nWe are looking for an Associate Product Marketing Manager to drive our company forward, and help us lead the clean energy revolution.\nHow you will make an impact:\nSupport the development and execution of the go-to-market strategy for 1-2 of Uplight’s solutions and products through market research and analysis, product positioning and messaging, collateral development, and collaboration with the relevant teams.\nExtract key insights from in-depth analyses of our market and solutions, synthesizing and packaging for internal teams while also incorporating into market-facing collateral.\nProvide analytical support on a range of quantitative projects, from market analysis to commercial strategy support. \nContribute to Uplight’s thought leadership by developing narratives with supporting proof points demonstrating the value that our products bring to our clients, including not only the “what,” but the “why,” “how,” and “so what,” in the form of case studies, presentations, marketing collateral, and more.\nContribute to the development of training and enablement materials to support our Commercial Team’s understanding of the problems we solve for our buyers and users, as well as the market at large; contribute to development of internal tools, external collateral, and training content. \nWhat you get to do:\nMarket and Product Analysis:\nProvide analytical support on a range of quantitative projects, from market analysis to commercial strategy support. \nIndependently execute specific go-to-market strategy projects, which can include positioning, packaging, market intelligence, and other projects.\nClearly articulate a product’s value in a way that resonates with the market.\nSynthesize market information into insights that inform positioning, roadmap, and go-to market strategy.\nDevelop product messaging and positioning.\nCollaborate with the Product team to inform roadmap priority and market strategy based on research.\nSales Enablement and Subject Matter Expertise:\nWork cross-functionally with teams across the organization including but not limited to Product, Sales, Account Management, Finance, Reporting, Insights, and Data Science in order to develop subject-matter expertise about the problems we solve for our buyers and users, as well as Uplight’s distinct role within the market at large.\nDevelop, maintain, and socialize internal tools and external sales assets that help our Sales, Marketing, and Market Development teams identify new opportunities, articulate Uplight’s unique value proposition, and accelerate adoption of Uplight’s products. \nCollaborate with Product, Insights, and Account Management teams to define and measure the beneficial outcomes that we deliver for our clients. \nRepresent Uplight in industry events and forums as well as client meetings.\nEnsure PMM resources consistently align sales and marketing teams on core use cases, personas, customer profiles, and competitive differentiation.\nProvide direct deal support to Sales teams as needed. \nProduct Marketing Scale:\nDesign and implement tools and processes to streamline development and maintenance of PMM go-to-market deliverables. \nOrganize and socialize PMM-developed collateral and materials to enhance self-service accessibility to internal teams across the organization. \nWhat you bring to Uplight: \n1-2+ years of experience in the utility, energy and/or climate tech space with a foundational understanding of the market, business incentives, and regulatory environment. \nPassion for storytelling and impact.\nAn analytical mindset, and a proven ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative research into actionable information or recommendations to internal and external stakeholders\nExceptional oral and written communication and presentation skills.\nAbility to adapt to change within a fast-paced environment.\nAbility to multitask, provide persistent follow-up, and prioritize competing deadlines.\nTeam player (ability to work toward a common goal across all departments and levels).\nSelf-starter and self-accountable.\nCreative problem-solving skills.\nDon’t meet every single requirement?
