What you will do
As a member of the Eastern Finland Pulp Mills Management Team, you will play a key role in contributing the strategic decision-making and driving the long-term development and success of Kymi and KaukasPulpmills.
In addition, you will:
Lead and develop pulp production operations with strong focus on safety, performanceand people
Lead daily pulp production operations and ensure safe, efficientand stable performance
Develop production performance, cost efficiencyand operational flexibility
Lead, coachand develop production organization and line management
Drive continuous improvement, problem-solvingand root cause analysis
Ensure compliance with EHS, quality and regulatory requirements
Collaborate closely with maintenance, technical, reliabilityand mill functions
Contribute to mill strategy execution and long-term development
Act as a role model in safety leadership and UPM ways of working
Whoyouare
You have strong leadership experience from industrial production or process industry
You have solid understanding of pulp mill or other continuous process operations
You have proven capability to drive performance, changeand continuous improvement
You have strong safety mindset and experience in leading EHS performance
You are analytical and fact-based decision-makerwith business-oriented thinking
You have excellent people leadership and collaboration skills
You have experience in working with KPIs, targets and operational governance
You are fluent in English and Finnish skills are required
