This individual will work closely with Project Managers and field teams to coordinate project documentation, scheduling, procurement, subcontractors, and project communication from preconstruction through closeout. The ideal candidate has previous experience working for a general contractor and is eager to grow within a collaborative, fast paced environment. Experience with industrial and tilt up construction is highly preferred.\nWhat You'll Do:\nSupport Project Managers with the day to day management of commercial and industrial construction projects.\nAssist with project planning, scheduling, procurement, and subcontractor coordination.\nManage RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and project documentation.\nCoordinate material procurement and track long lead items to support project schedules.\nAssist with project budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting, and monthly reporting.\nReview construction drawings and specifications for completeness and accuracy.\nParticipate in owner, architect, subcontractor, and internal project meetings.\nSupport project buyout and subcontract administration.\nCoordinate with Superintendents to help resolve field issues and maintain project schedules.\nMaintain accurate project files and documentation using construction management software.\nAssist with project closeout including punch lists, warranties, and turnover documentation.\nBuild strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams.\nWhat You'll Bring:\n2 to 5 years of experience with a general contractor as an Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer, or similar role.\nExperience supporting ground up commercial construction projects.\nIndustrial construction experience including warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or similar facilities is preferred.\nTilt up construction experience is highly preferred.\nStrong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documentation.\nExperience managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project correspondence.\nProficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and construction management software.\nExcellent organization, communication, and problem solving skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.\nPreferred Experience\nGround up commercial construction\nIndustrial construction\nTilt up construction\nWarehouse and distribution facilities\nManufacturing facilities\nOffice and corporate projects\nRetail and mixed use developments\nAbout Us\nUprite Construction was established in 1991 as a multi-service construction company specializing in project site development, ground-up, new construction, renovations, and tenant improvements for the commercial and industrial sectors.
