Any unsolicited resumes will be considered Uprite Construction's property, and no fees will be paid for unsolicited referrals.*\nAs a Project Engineer, you will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and clients to help keep projects organized and moving forward.\nYou will support projects from preconstruction through closeout while gaining experience across both the field and project management sides of construction.\nResponsibilities include:\nAssist the Project Manager and Superintendent with day to day project coordination\nManage and track RFIs, submittals, change documentation, and project correspondence\nReview drawings, specifications, submittals, and other construction documents\nCoordinate with subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and internal project teams\nMaintain project logs and help ensure outstanding items are followed through to completion\nAssist with subcontractor procurement, scopes of work, buyout, and contract documentation\nSupport project scheduling and help identify issues that could affect milestones or completion dates\nAssist with change orders, cost tracking, forecasting, and other project financial documentation\nParticipate in owner, architect, subcontractor, and internal project meetings\nPrepare meeting minutes and follow up on assigned action items\nWork closely with field leadership to resolve drawing, coordination, constructability, and scheduling issues\nHelp ensure subcontractors have the information needed to perform their work\nAssist with permitting, inspections, and coordination with local jurisdictions when needed\nSupport quality control and project safety expectations\nAssist with punch lists, commissioning, turnover documentation, warranties, and project closeout\nMaintain accurate and organized project records throughout the life of the project\nBuild strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, consultants, and internal team members\nWhat We’re Looking For\nBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred\nCommercial construction experience preferred\nPrevious internship, Project Engineer, Field Engineer, or Assistant Project Manager experience with a general contractor is a plus\nUnderstanding of construction drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities\nComfortable communicating with field teams, subcontractors, clients, and design professionals\nStrong problem solving skills and willingness to take ownership of assigned responsibilities\nAbility to work both independently and collaboratively within a project team\nProficiency with common construction technology and project management systems preferred\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nAbout Us\nUprite Construction was established in 1991 as a multi-service construction company specializing in project site development, ground-up, new construction, renovations, and tenant improvements for the commercial and industrial sectors.
