This role is responsible for leading commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, with a strong focus on schedule, budget, quality, client relationships, and overall project execution.\nThe ideal candidate has direct experience managing tilt up construction projects and understands the planning, coordination, and field execution that goes into successfully delivering this type of work. Experience with cold storage, food and beverage, distribution, industrial, or other technically complex facilities is a strong plus.\nWhat You’ll Do\nManage projects from preconstruction through final completion and closeout\nTake ownership of project budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement, change management, and overall financial performance\nCoordinate closely with superintendents, project engineers, subcontractors, design teams, consultants, owners, and internal leadership\nLead project meetings and maintain clear communication with clients and project stakeholders\nReview drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, contracts, and change orders\nManage subcontractor scopes, buyout, procurement, and performance\nIdentify project risks early and work with the team to develop solutions before they impact cost or schedule\nMonitor project costs, forecasts, commitments, billings, and overall financial performance\nPartner closely with field leadership to maintain project schedules and resolve construction challenges\nEnsure projects meet Uprite’s expectations for safety, quality, schedule, and client service\nBuild strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, design partners, and internal teams\nSupport project closeout, punch list completion, turnover, and final documentation\nWhat We’re Looking For\nDirect project management experience with commercial tilt up construction is required\nExperience managing projects for a commercial general contractor\nStrong understanding of tilt up construction methods, sequencing, structural coordination, site logistics, and project execution\nExperience with cold storage or temperature controlled facilities is a plus\nExperience with industrial, warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, food and beverage, or similar commercial projects is also valuable\nStrong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, contracts, schedules, budgets, and cost controls\nExperience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades throughout the construction process\nAbility to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to project details\nStrong communication and relationship building skills\nComfortable working closely with both field and office teams\nProficiency with construction management and scheduling technology\nPreferred Experience\nCold storage or temperature controlled construction\nIndustrial and distribution facilities\nFood and beverage facilities\nLarge scale commercial tilt up projects\nDesign build project delivery\nAbout Us\nUprite Construction was established in 1991 as a multi-service construction company specializing in project site development, ground-up, new construction, renovations, and tenant improvements for the commercial and industrial sectors.
