This individual will oversee commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, with a strong emphasis on ground up commercial and industrial tilt up construction. The ideal candidate is an organized leader who can manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, client relationships, and multiple project stakeholders while maintaining a high standard of quality and safety.\nWhat You'll Do:\nManage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final completion\nDevelop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and forecasting\nLead project meetings with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors\nReview contracts, drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders\nCoordinate procurement and subcontractor buyout activities\nPartner closely with field Superintendents to ensure schedule and quality expectations are achieved\nMonitor project costs, billing, cash flow, and financial performance\nIdentify and proactively resolve project risks and challenges\nMaintain strong client relationships throughout the life of the project\nEnsure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to Uprite quality standards\nSupport estimating and preconstruction efforts when needed\nWhat You'll Bring:\n7 or more years of Project Management experience with a commercial general contractor\nProven experience managing ground up commercial construction projects\nIndustrial and tilt up construction experience strongly preferred\nExperience managing projects valued from approximately $10 million to $100 million or larger\nStrong understanding of construction contracts, scheduling, budgeting, and project financials\nAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously\nExcellent communication and leadership skills\nProficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and project scheduling software\nBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred\nPreferred Experience\nIndustrial facilities\nDistribution centers\nManufacturing facilities\nWarehouse construction\nTilt up concrete construction\nCommercial office\nEducation\nRetail\nAbout Us\nUprite Construction was established in 1991 as a multi-service construction company specializing in project site development, ground-up, new construction, renovations, and tenant improvements for the commercial and industrial sectors.
