We are looking for someone who understands how to run a project from preconstruction through closeout and has strong experience with ground up commercial or industrial construction. Direct experience with concrete tilt up construction is highly preferred.\nThis person will work closely with the Superintendent, project team, subcontractors, ownership, and leadership to keep the project moving while maintaining strong control of cost, schedule, quality, and communication.\nWhat You'll Do:\nManage ground up industrial construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout\nPartner closely with the Superintendent to manage project schedule, sequencing, logistics, quality, and overall execution\nManage project budgets, forecasting, cost reporting, commitments, and financial performance\nLead subcontractor buyout, scope review, contract administration, and change management\nManage RFIs, submittals, procurement, change orders, pay applications, and project documentation\nCoordinate closely with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, inspectors, and internal project teams\nIdentify long lead materials and procurement risks early and develop plans to protect the project schedule\nUnderstand and coordinate major ground up scopes including sitework, underground utilities, foundations, concrete, structural systems, MEP, building envelope, and finishes\nSupport planning and execution of tilt up concrete construction, including foundations, slab preparation, panel construction, erection, structural steel, roofing, and building dry in\nLead owner and project meetings and communicate project status, risks, financials, schedule concerns, and upcoming milestones clearly\nReview drawings and specifications for constructability, scope gaps, conflicts, and potential cost or schedule impacts\nBuild strong relationships with subcontractors and maintain accountability while treating our trade partners fairly\nWork closely with preconstruction and field leadership to ensure a smooth transition from estimating into operations\nMaintain accurate project documentation and ensure issues are addressed before they become larger problems\nDrive project closeout, punch list completion, turnover documentation, and final financial reconciliation\nWhat You'll Bring:\n5 or more years of commercial construction project management experience preferred\nStrong ground up commercial or industrial construction experience required\nExperience with concrete tilt up construction strongly preferred\nExperience with warehouses, distribution facilities, manufacturing, logistics, industrial facilities, or similar large ground up projects is highly valued\nStrong understanding of concrete, structural steel, site development, underground utilities, MEP systems, building envelope, and interior construction\nExperience managing multimillion dollar projects and significant subcontractor scopes\nStrong understanding of project financials, forecasting, buyout, change management, and cost control\nAbility to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and schedules\nStrong subcontractor management and owner communication skills\nComfortable working closely with both field and office teams\nProcore and construction scheduling experience preferred\nBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred, although equivalent construction experience will be considered\nAbout Us\nUprite Construction was established in 1991 as a multi-service construction company specializing in project site development, ground-up, new construction, renovations, and tenant improvements for the commercial and industrial sectors.
