This role requires strong experience managing ground up commercial projects, with tilt up construction experience being highly preferred. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, financially minded, and thrives in a fast paced environment.\nWhat You'll Do:\nManage commercial ground up construction projects from award through final closeout\nLead project planning, scheduling, procurement, budgeting, and execution\nDevelop and maintain project schedules to ensure milestone and completion dates are achieved\nPrepare, manage, and forecast project budgets, cost reports, and financial performance\nReview drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documents for accuracy and completeness\nNegotiate and manage subcontractor agreements and purchase orders\nLead project meetings with owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams\nManage Requests for Information, submittals, change orders, and project documentation\nIdentify project risks early and implement solutions to maintain schedule and budget\nPartner closely with Superintendents to coordinate field operations and resolve project challenges\nMaintain strong relationships with clients while providing exceptional customer service\nEnsure compliance with all safety requirements, company standards, and quality expectations\nCoordinate successful project turnover and closeout documentation\nWhat You'll Bring:\n5+ years of Project Management experience with a commercial general contractor\nProven experience managing ground up commercial construction projects\nTilt up construction experience is strongly preferred\nExperience managing industrial, warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, office, retail, or other commercial projects\nStrong understanding of project budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, contracts, and cost control\nExperience managing projects from preconstruction through final completion\nExcellent communication and leadership skills\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment\nProficiency with Procore, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, or similar construction software\nBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required\nPreferred Experience\nTilt up industrial facilities\nManufacturing facilities\nDistribution centers\nWarehouse construction\nCommercial office buildings\nTenant improvements\nConcrete structures\nStructural steel construction\nAbout Us\nUprite Construction was established in 1991 as a multi-service construction company specializing in project site development, ground-up, new construction, renovations, and tenant improvements for the commercial and industrial sectors.
