This position is based in the Pocatello area, but candidates must be open to travel based on project needs.\nWe are looking for someone with strong commercial general contractor experience who has successfully managed both ground up construction and tenant improvement projects. The ideal candidate understands the entire construction process and can confidently lead a project in the field from early site activities through final turnover.\nThis role requires someone who is comfortable taking ownership, managing multiple trades, solving problems in the field, and maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors, owners, and the internal project team.\nWhat You Will Do\nLead day to day field operations for commercial construction projects\nManage ground up construction, tenant improvements, renovations, and other commercial project types\nTake ownership of projects from sitework and foundations through structure, building envelope, MEP systems, interiors, punch, and final turnover\nCoordinate subcontractors, vendors, deliveries, equipment, inspections, and daily field activities\nDevelop and maintain project schedules and short term field planning\nManage trade sequencing and ensure subcontractors are meeting schedule commitments\nMonitor subcontractor manpower, productivity, quality, and overall performance\nReview construction drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, and other project documents\nIdentify constructability issues and field conflicts early and work with the project team to develop solutions\nLead subcontractor meetings and communicate project expectations clearly\nCoordinate closely with Project Managers and Project Engineers on schedule, cost, procurement, changes, RFIs, and project documentation\nMaintain communication with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, inspectors, and other project stakeholders\nCoordinate city and agency inspections and ensure work is ready for inspection\nMaintain strong safety standards and promote a safe and organized jobsite\nMonitor quality throughout construction and ensure work meets plans, specifications, and Uprite standards\nMaintain accurate daily reports, progress documentation, and field records\nManage punch list activities, commissioning coordination, final inspections, and project closeout\nHelp build and maintain strong relationships with local subcontractors and trade partners\nTravel to project locations as required by the needs of the business\nWhat We Are Looking For\nStrong Superintendent experience within commercial construction\nGround up commercial construction experience is required\nTenant improvement experience is required\nExperience working for a commercial general contractor\nExperience independently running projects or major portions of projects in the field\nStrong understanding of sitework, foundations, concrete, structural systems, building envelope, MEP systems, interiors, and finishes\nExperience managing projects through the full construction lifecycle from mobilization through turnover\nStrong subcontractor management and trade coordination experience\nAbility to manage multiple subcontractors and scopes simultaneously\nStrong scheduling, sequencing, and short term planning skills\nAbility to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, shop drawings, and project documents\nExperience coordinating inspections and working with local jurisdictions\nStrong understanding of construction safety and quality control\nAbility to identify problems in the field and work collaboratively toward practical solutions\nStrong communication and leadership skills\nComfortable working directly with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal project teams\nExperience with Procore or similar construction management software is preferred\nOSHA 30 certification is preferred\nMust be open and able to travel based on project location and business needs\nMust be comfortable with extended project assignments outside the Pocatello area when required\nPreferred Experience\nCandidates with experience across multiple commercial construction markets are especially encouraged to apply.
