This role is ideal for someone who has successfully managed grocery store construction projects and understands the unique demands that come with this type of work.\nThe Superintendent will be responsible for managing day to day field operations, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining the project schedule, overseeing safety and quality, and making sure projects are delivered successfully. We are looking for someone who is comfortable taking ownership of the field and working closely with project management, clients, subcontractors, inspectors, and vendors.\nWhat You Will Do\nManage daily field operations from project startup through completion\nLead grocery store construction projects, including ground up construction, remodels, expansions, and occupied store renovations\nCoordinate subcontractors, vendors, deliveries, inspections, and site activities\nMaintain and drive the project schedule\nDevelop short term schedules and look ahead plans to keep work moving\nCoordinate work around grocery specific systems, equipment, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and specialty vendors\nManage construction activities in active or occupied environments when required\nCoordinate shutdowns, tie ins, phased construction, and work that must occur outside normal operating hours\nConduct regular subcontractor meetings and communicate field priorities clearly\nReview drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and project requirements\nIdentify field conflicts early and work with the project team to resolve them\nMaintain high standards for workmanship and quality control\nEnsure subcontractors follow project safety requirements and company standards\nCoordinate inspections and work closely with local authorities having jurisdiction\nMaintain\nAbout Us\nUprite Construction was established in 1991 as a multi-service construction company specializing in project site development, ground-up, new construction, renovations, and tenant improvements for the commercial and industrial sectors.
