This role has a mandatory probation period.\nRole Summary: The Accounting Specialist role is a fully onsite position, 5 days a week in our Midtown office. This position serves as an integral part of our Accounting department. You will be assisting the Accounting team with finance and payroll projects. The ideal candidate needs to be willing to take initiative to tackle current obstacles in the finance and accounting area of the company to improve efficiency.\nResponsibilities:\nMaintain company bank accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions to the monthly report\nProvide information to employees, agents, and managers on payroll matters and taxation issues\nBalance the general ledger and prepare company account cash flow statements to the monthly income statement\nResponsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable, and related monthly reports\nAnalyze current payment processing situations of potential clients by interpreting processing statements for the corresponding affiliates\nKeep informed about changes in corporate tax and individual income tax regulations that apply to the payroll process\nUtilize statistics and principles of accounting and finance to analyze the past and present financial operations\nAccounting projects, reporting, and other tasks as assigned\nQualifications:\nMust be authorized to work in the US at the time of hire.
