If you have the qualities and drive to lead yourself or teams, there are roles ready to cultivate your skills and take you to the next level.\nJob Description:\nUPS is currently looking for Part-time Local Sorters to work from ourFraser Valley Package Facility\nPosition Title: Local Sorters\nPosition Type: Permanent Part-time\nWork Hours: 5:30PM - 9:30PM*\nWorkdays: Monday to Friday*\nLocation: 790 Belgrave Way, Delta BC\n*Shift schedules may vary based on operational requirements\nLocal Sorters are responsible for unloading and loading packages off and on trailers, air canisters, and other vehicles. Other responsibilities may include:\nLifting, lowering, and moving of packages weighing between 10 to 70lbs.\nHandling packages weighing up to 150lbs.\nScanning and sorting packages based on postal codes, addresses, package dimensions\nUnderstanding and recognizing postal codes, routing charts and maps\nStanding closely with conveyor, roller belts and other equipment in the warehouse\nWashing package cars to ensure cleanliness\nQualifications\nAvailable to work Monday to Friday*\nAbility to follow set of safety and standard procedures\nGood organizational and multi-tasking skills\nComfortable working in a fast-paced and physically demanding work environment\nAble to regularly and safely lift packages up to 70-lbs unassisted\nMust be comfortable working in a warehouse environment.\nWarehouse experience is considered an asset but not required.\nAll candidates must go through a series of interviews, background and reference checks.\nWhat we offer...\nTraining and Development: training provided for all positions\nWeekly compensation: weekly pay, effective starting rate of $18.00/hour\nTuition Reimbursement Program: reimburse tuition fees for up to $1000/semester*\nGuaranteed wage progression: guaranteed wage progression*\nGenerous benefits package: Extended benefits\nPromotion from within: career advancement in many areas of the business\nEmployee discounts: employee discounts available online through UPSers.\n*Conditions Apply\nIf you are interested in joining the UPS team.
