Through this 2-year leadership development program, professionals work on internal audit projects through four rotations: finance, international and domestic operations, technology and cybersecurity and healthcare. In addition to learning about the business, participants will also have the opportunity to enhance their leadership competencies including, but not limited to: business acumen, data analytics, coaching and development, partnership and written and verbal communication.\nKey Responsibilities\nExecute risk-based audit project across financial, operational, and technology domains\nPerform procedures across all phases of an internal audit , including planning, evaluation, and reporting\nEvaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls\nIdentify control gaps, risks, and opportunities to improve business processes and controls\nPrepare clear, concise, and well-supported audit documentation and audit findings\nCommunicate observations and recommendations effectively to management\nCollaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather information, validate issues, and support remediation efforts\nAssist in tracking and validating management action plans and remediation activities\nUtilize data analytics and emerging technologies to enhance audit quality and efficiency\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives within Internal Audit, including methodology and tool enhancements\nProvide guidance and informal mentorship to junior auditors\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor’s Degree (or internationally comparable degree)\n3-7 years of relevant experience in Internal Audit, External Audit, Accounting, Consulting, Engineering, Risk Management, or related field in a large, complex, or global organization\nCPA, CIA, CISA, or other relevant professional certification\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nExperience using data analytics tools and/or AI to support audit execution\nAdditional Applicant Information:\nThis position reports to the UPS Corporate office located in Atlanta, GA\nCandidate must be in Atlanta, GA or willing to self-relocate as relocation services are not offered for this position\nHybrid work environment requires in office days\nEmployee Type:\nPermanentUPS is committed to providing a workplace free of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.\nOther Criteria:\nUPS is an equal opportunity employer.
