If you have the qualities and drive to lead yourself or teams, there are roles ready to cultivate your skills and take you to the next level.\nJob Description:\nJob Summary\nThe BaSE Supervisor leads day-to-day housekeeping operations for Buildings & Systems Engineering in the Indianapolis Area, including the Plainfield and 81st Street facilities. The role supervises BaSE Porters, directs third-party housekeeping vendors(s), and is accountable for facility cleanliness, safety program compliance, and employee development. The role also provides periodic coverage for the BaSE Maintenance Supervisor(s) during absences, vacations, and peak periods.\nResponsibilities:\nHousekeeping\n· Plan, schedule, and supervise daily housekeeping activities for BaSE Porters and third-party vendors(s) to maintain clean, safe, and orderly facilities.\n· Conduct routine facility inspections and audits; assign corrective actions and track them to closure.\n· Manage housekeeping vendor performance against contract scope and service expectations.\n· Monitor housekeeping supply usage, inventory, and costs to support budget objectives.\n· Support facility safety programs and ensure compliance with company policy and regulatory requirements, including PPE and chemical handling.\n· Delivery required regulatory training, including Lockout Training and Hazmat Training, as directed to BaSE and non-BaSE personnel.\n· Hire, train, coach, and develop BaSE Porters; manage scheduling, attendance, and performance in accordance with company policy and applicable labor agreements.\n· Communication work status and facility concerns BaSE management and operations partners.\nMaintenance Supervisor Coverage (as needed)\n· Provide supervisory coverage for BaSE Mechanics and Automation Specialists during Maintenance Supervisor absences and as directed.\n· Schedule repairs and preventative maintenance using BaSE Mechanics, Automation Specialists, and outside vendors.\n· Monitor preventative maintenance inspections (PMI), system reliability (OEE), and system performance (SPI), and communicate corrective actions.\n· Coordinate equipment failure response with operations and escalate issues to BaSE management as needed.\nRequirements:\n· Must possess a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).\n· Must have experience troubleshooting facility equipment or systems and supporting preventive maintenance programs, or a minimum of three (3) years of UPS experience in lieu of this requirement.\n· Must be available to work Monday through Friday, with flexibility to adjust schedule based on business needs.\n· Must be available to work day shift, with flexibility to accommodate operational requirements.\n· Must be able to travel between facilities throughout the Indianapolis area, within an approximate 25-mile radius\n· Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.\nGrade level: 203\nDeadline to apply: November 5th; 11:59PM\nEmployee Type:\nPermanentUPS is committed to providing a workplace free of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.\nOther Criteria:\nUPS is an equal opportunity employer.
